Zero Late Fees

Credit cards companies will usually take off a late fee. You have to call them within a few days of missing a payment. Tell them that you had accidentally missed the payment. If your account is in good standing they will most likely make the late fee zero. Some credit card companies will allow you to do this up to twice in a 12 month period. You are more likely to have the late fee removed if your account is in good standing. They are even more likely to remove the fee if you make a payment in full that reduces your balance to zero.
